The rapid expansion of remote-based organizations has transformed traditional patterns of leadership, communication, and team collaboration, creating new challenges for maintaining employee engagement and team performance. In this context, adaptive leadership has emerged as an important leadership approach that enables leaders to respond effectively to uncertainty, technological change, and diverse employee needs. This study aims to examine the role of adaptive leadership in enhancing team performance within remote-based organizations. A quantitative research approach is employed using a survey method involving employees who work in fully remote or predominantly remote organizational settings. Data are collected through a structured questionnaire measuring adaptive leadership practices and dimensions of team performance, including collaboration, productivity, communication effectiveness, and goal achievement. The data are analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential analysis to determine the relationship and influence of adaptive leadership on team performance. The study is expected to demonstrate that leaders who exhibit flexibility, responsiveness, effective communication, empowerment, and the ability to manage change contribute positively to stronger team performance in virtual work environments. The findings are expected to provide theoretical insights into adaptive leadership in contemporary organizational settings and practical implications for managers seeking to improve team effectiveness, employee engagement, and organizational resilience in increasingly remote and digitally mediated workplaces.
